The Pharma Tech Lab at the University of Urbino Carlo Bo is dedicated to advancing the frontiers of pharmaceutical sciences through the integration of innovative materials and manufacturing technologies. Our multi-disciplinary research program focuses on:

• Advanced Drug Delivery Systems: We specialize in the design and characterization of complex colloidal carriers, tailored to improve the efficacy and targeting of therapeutic agents.

• Next-Generation Manufacturing (3D Printing & Microfluidics): We exploit cutting-edge technologies, such as pharmaceutical 3D printing and microfluidic platforms, to pioneer personalized medicine and ensure scalable, continuous production of novel dosage forms.

• Smart Biomaterials and Polymers: Our work explores natural and synthetic biopolymers, developing responsive platforms, for controlled and triggered drug release.

• QbD and Computational Modeling: We integrate Quality by Design (QbD) principles and sophisticated computational modeling, to streamline formulation development and optimize manufacturing processes.
